From the National Archives comes the Home Front 1939-1945, lots of great info on what it was like in Britain during the Second World War.

Different sections, including Women at War, Spies and Evacuation.

Mend, Make or Spend game is an online challenge all about clothes rationing based on the realities of living during WWII.

This comes from the Imperial War Museum.

I suppose by now you may have guessed that I’ll be studying WWII when we get back in September, so here’s another site with great information and this one is from the MOD!

Great stuff from the people who lived through the war, real accounts from real people.

This excellent site from the History Channel, Spitfire Summer, tells the tale of probably the most famous RAF airplane of WWII.

With video, 3D model and lots of info, it’s great for WWII study.

Just select resources on the left hand side and then the age group you want.

All of these can be linked to loads of the Science NC requirements.
