From the BBC comes this great online Dr Who Trailer Creator. Just follow the instructions and once you’re happy, upload it to the BBC site so everyone can see it! Thanks to Jeannie for this one.

I’m looking at communication as a theme this term.

Why not try this cracking Morse Code Translator. You need Java to use it so here’s a link to a download for it.

This site, showing expression, can be used to show how people communication using their faces. It can also be used with children who have trouble reading emotions.

Here on the BBC Skills site there are two activities to see what percentages look like.

In the first you look at the percentages of something and in the second one you can compare percentages and fractions.

Linking Maths with the Every Child Matters agenda isn’t that easy but here’s a site with a nice little game to help show ‘Economic well being’!

Coffee Shop, on the Cool Math Games site is great. The pupils get to know what goes into setting up a business; from buying coffee, sugar and milk to knowing the right amount of cups to have.

The target is to make the most money in 14 days.
